Aaaaaand we're back! I hope y'all are ready for some fun episodic monster killing magical adventures, because this book is all about world building! 

I've had most of the major beats for this story planned out for awhile, and I like to tease the climaxes of each one on the covers. However, during the course of working on this one, I had to figure out what, exactly, this specific plot-important creature looked like, and I just hit a wall with it.

Ultimately, I had to admit I really needed help, and so I reached out to an artist whose wonderful work and eerie monster designs and concepts I've always admired, E. Coffee. There's always been something about their style and ideas that have always stuck with me, so I was thrilled when I got their design back and realized I had asked the right person for help. 

E. Coffee has a Portfolio Site, a Tumblr, an Instagram, and a Twitter where you can see more of their work, and I highly recommend you check them out. They've also posted the original character sheet they did and that I've been using for reference.

I'm very excited to write the chapter in which this creature appears and really showcase their design and all the wonderful elements they come up with (there's so much more than just what's here on the cover!).
