A lot of people are concerned about how this part of the story will turn out, and for very valid reasons. This is a very, very small part of a much, much larger story, with a very divese cast of characters. There's still a lot of it left to tell. 

There are a lot of preconceptions when you say that a story is influenced by Christianity, and this specific arc is a way of clarifying what you can expect from this one.
