Real Talk:
Whenever my anxiety flares up and starts to feel overwhelming, I've realized that if I just say those thoughts out loud to someone, it helps me to view them objectively. Like, just hearing them as a sound instead of so intimately in my head as a thought lets me look at them critically. And I find that, because of this, they become ludicrous to me and then fade. Does anyone else who has anxiety have a similar experience? Or do you have a different way of processing these thoughts?
