We are officially underway! Man, it feels like a huge weight has come off me. Or like I finally stopped holding my breath. Who can live like this? Have there been any major life developments for anyone since the end of Chapter 4? How y'all doing?

Chapter 5 is going to be over 50 pages long, and will end in a similar way that it began. WOOOOO, let that get your gears churnin'. It took a long time to write because, my gosh, there are so many fights that I had to figure out and establish the tone of and my gosh they're still a mess. 

Not to mention, though this break was long and terrible, it was needed. I'm a storyboard revisionist now - which was a huge adjustment. That's a whole career shift right there! 
I'm working on a show called Ready Jet Go!, which airs on PBS and teaches tiny wee children about science. I AM VERY MUCH OKAY WITH THIS I'M LEARNING AS MUCH AS THE KIDS ARE AND SCIENCE IS AWESOME OH MY GOSH. 
Juggling the comic with my new job has been a challenge, but I think I've got a handle on it. There are still a few kinks to iron out in my new, developing comic schedule, but DotL is my baby and I'm determined to see it through. 

Anyway, enough about me: this page marks the introduction of a very important character. But who the heck is he? What do we know about him so far?
